Retiree: Always wanted to be a teacher

Deb Katterheinrich enjoys a moment with her fourth-grade students at Cridersville Elementary School. She retired at the end of the year after 30 years teaching at the school.

As far back as she can remember, Deb Katterheinrich loved to play school.
“Many times it was with imaginary students, but even if I had real friends to play with, I was always the teacher,” said Katterheinrich, who retired at the end of the school year from teaching at Cridersville Elementary School.
