On a mission to explore Mars, a few local residents experienced what it is like to drive the Mars rover — or a replica, hand held rover, at the Auglaize County District Library on Saturday.

“It moves like a remote control car. It transmits a signal that I can pick up here and then it’ll show on the computer screen what it sees.”
