Rea Bowersock, 95

Rea M. Bowersock, 95, of rural Spencerville, died at 11:03 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2011, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
She was born April 25, 1916, in Union Township, Mercer County, the daughter of Pearl Irelan and Isaac Shank. On Oct. 5, 1932, she married G. Harold Bowersock, who died July 2, 2008.
Surviving are two sons, William “Bill” Bowersock, of Spencerville, and James “Jim” Bowersock, of Spencerville; and two daughters, Carol Trice, of Van Wert, and Janet Keiber, of Fort Amanda.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Betty Lou Bowersock and Helen Louise Bowersock.
Services are at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville, with the Rev. Raymond S. Daniel Jr. officiating. Burial is to follow at Spencerville Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to Kossuth-Zion United Methodist Church.
