BOTKINS — In the spirit of summertime, Only Believe Ministries hosted an ice cream social for parishioners and guests after its regular Wednesday service yesterday.

“It’s a time in which church can come together, friends can come together, and just enjoy some fellowship and enjoy some ice cream at the same time,” Only Believe Ministries Administrator Eric Smith said.

Smith said the event was a great way for parishioners to catch up on their summer activities.

“They’ll be hanging out for an hour or two after church tonight out in the north parking lot talking about what they’re going to do at Cedar Point or King’s Island, and school coming back,” Smith said. “It’s just a way for us to bless people, too. It is a cost expense to go to a store or to go to a restaurant and buy ice cream.”
