O. Evelyn Schaub, 94

O. Evelyn Schaub, 94, of Wapakoneta, died at 3:03 a.m., Tuesday, May 27, 2014, at The Gardens in Wapakoneta.  She was born Aug. 31, 1919, in Allen County, the daughter of Warren and Edith (Hoaglin) Hall, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include, a daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Thomas Wehner, of Wapakoneta; four grandchildren, Annette (Keith) Larmi, of Worthington, Craig (Elizabeth) Wehner, of Grove City, Brenna (Scott) Palmer, of Clintonville, and Vickie Wehner, of Wapakoneta; 10 great-grandchildren, Finn Larmi, Tommy, Ben, Matthew and Charlie Wehner, Kaleigh, Hannah and Lauren Palmer, Stella and Milton Wehner; a sister, Mary Holtzapple, of Wapakoneta.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Douglas M. Wehner, two brothers, Warren Hall, Jr. and Donald Geneo Hall, and two sisters, Margaret Kantner and Pauline Hall.  

Evelyn retired from the Wapakoneta City Schools cafeteria. She enjoyed camping with the 0-11 Scotty Club. She also enjoyed spending time with her great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, state Route 501, Wapakoneta, with Pastor Kimberly Pope-Seiberling officiating. Burial is to follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery, in Lima. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until time of service, Tuesday, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to Donate Life.
