Norman G. Berry, 90

Norman G. Berry, beloved husband of Genelle M. Berry, 912 Neil Armstrong Drive, Wapakoneta, died in the early morning on June 16, 2011.
He was born Feb. 3, 1921, in Municing, Mich. Norman and his wife married on July 14, 1989.
He is survived by seven children, Rebecca S. Lofland, of Raleigh, N.C., Della (Pixie) Rogers, of Wapakoneta, Joseph B. Martin, of Lamont, Ill., Lecia J. Winn, of Wapakoneta,, Raymond (Alice) Berry, of Redmond, Wash., Tonia (Alan) Boyle, of Bellevue, Wash., Drommie (John) Williams, of Canada; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was a successful self-employed engineer and had founded Magnum Tool in Harrisville, Mich. He retired with his wife to Wapakoneta in 1997. Norman was awarded the Purple Heart as a member of the T.C. Squadron in World War II as a member of the Air Force. He was wounded in the Battle of the Bulge and received an honorable discharge.
A memorial service will be held at First English Lutheran Church, the Rev. Steve Nelson officiating. The service will be announced in the near future.
