NFL: Horn plays, records reception

August 22, 2011

Waynesfield-Goshen product Joe Horn saw his first game action for the Indianapolis Colts in a 16-3 exhibition loss to the Washington Redskins on Friday at Indianapolis.
With 3:11 left in the game, Horn caught a 12-yard pass to the left from Dan Orlovsky. He picked up a first down on the play. But the Colts were unable to move the chains again in what would be their final possession of the game.
Horn missed the Colts’ first exhibition game with an injury.
The Colts have two exhibition games remaining. They host the Green Bay Packer on Friday night before traveling to Cincinnati to face the Bengals on September 1.
