Nancy A. Koeper, 68

Nancy A. Koeper, 68, of 800 Bryarly Circle, Saint Marys, Ohio, died at 10:57 p.m. on Sunday, April 20, 2014, at Lima Memorial Hospital following a short illness. She was born Aug. 5, 1945, in Lima, the daughter of Melvin and Mildred (Thuman) Luedeke. She married Kenneth Koeper on Sept. 21, 1963, at Saint Paul’s United Church of Christ in New Bremen.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Koeper; her daughter, Kimberly (Dale) Miller, of Saint Marys; a sister, Connie Frey, of Celina; a brother, Thomas Luedeke, of Saint Marys. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Nancy was employed at Crown Equipment Corporation in New Bremen, and she had previously worked at Barnhart and Bricker in Saint Marys. She was a member of Saint Paul’s United Church of Christ in Saint Marys. She loved being with her family and was a huge fan of auto racing.

Funeral rites will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 25, 2014, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, with the Reverend Dr. Ed Bray as officiant. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery in Saint Marys.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home, where memorial gifts may be given to either Hospice of Putnam County or Saint Paul’s United Church of Christ in Saint Marys.
