Myra Ann Miller, 80, of Lakeview, passed away early Monday morning, March 19, 2012, at Kindred Hospital in Lima.
She was born April 15, 1931, in Roundhead, to the late Rachel Wilmina Ford and Herman Lewis Tracy.
Surviving are two daughters, Virginia (Paul Grider) Taylor, of Lakeview, and Melissa (Joe) Miller Schimpf, of Cridersville; four sons, Steve Taylor, of Springfield, Sam (Teresa) Miller, of Bellefontaine, Henry (John Paul Moore) Miller, of Lima, and Rex Miller, of Lima; 18 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Margie (Jim) Patterson, of Columbus, and Jane Jenkins, of Bellefontaine; a brother, Norman â€śKayâ€ť (Roxy) Tracy, of Huntsville; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Mike Taylor, and four siblings, Edwin, Harold, Dorothy and Audrey.
Myra was a 1950 graduate of Huntsville Local Schools. She was a bus driver for Wapakoneta City Schools and Waynesfield-Goshen Schools and later worked as an inspector at Ex-Cell-O Corporation in Lima, retiring after 20 years. She served at director the Wapakoneta City Ladies Bowling Tournament for several years. She enjoyed fishing, embroidery, bowling, watching sports in general including OSU and especially baseball of any kind. She greatly loved being around her grandchildren.
Services are at 11 a.m. Saturday at Shoffstall Funeral Home in Lakeview.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery in New Hampshire.
Contributions may be given to the Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Ohio in Dublin.
