For residents of Northwest Ohio looking to share their passion for Ford Mustangs, there is a club for you.

The Fort Findlay Mustang Club, located in Findlay, Ohio, was started by Bryan Mersch and his former co-worker in September 2012.

“After I bought my first Mustang, I started to notice more and more Mustangs driving around Findlay,” Mersch said. “I thought it would be nice for all of us to get together and hang out.”

Mersch said that although he started the club, he does not want to take full credit for getting the club off the ground.

“It’s a group thing,” he said. “I got it started, but we all kind of work together.”

Mersch said he started to really become invested in Mustang culture when he attended Mustang Week in Myrtle Beach, S.C., in 2011.

“It was absolutely amazing to see thousands of Mustangs cruising around the beach area,” Mersch said. “That really got me going.”

Shortly after, Mersch created the Fort Findlay Mustang Club page on Facebook, which has 105 ‘likes.’
