Wapakoneta Police Chief Russ Hunlock

A Montezuma man was arrested late Monday as part of an investigation into sexually oriented offenses involving minors which occurred in Wapakoneta.

Wapakoneta Police Chief Russ Hunlock said Timothy S. Workman, 43, of Montezuma, was arrested at 10:30 p.m. in St. Marys in connection with the case. Workman is being held at the Auglaize County Jail.

A joint investigation by the Wapakoneta and St. Marys police departments and the Auglaize County and Mercer County sheriff's offices revealed the photographing of minors in the nude, Hunlock said. The police chief said the majority of the activity took place at a motel in Wapakoneta earlier this year.
