Mike E. Cope, 57

Mike E. Cope, 57, of Cridersville, died Saturday, March 29, 2014, at his residence.

He was born Dec. 30, 1956, in Lima, to Daniel H. and Icie Irene Fickle Cope, who preceded him in death.
Mr. Cope was a member of VFW Post 1275 and American Legion Post 96.  He served in both the U.S. Army and Navy.

Survivors include his former wife, Margaret Mullins Cope, of Cridersville, son, Joe Cope, of Cridersville, daughter, Christina Cope, of Allegane, Mich.; three grandchildren, Espn Wolfe and Bentley Wolfe, of Wapakoneta, and Serenity Cope, of Cridersville; two brothers, Rex and Carl Cope, both of Lima; and three sisters,  Cheryl Cope, of Ottawa, Mary Bartley, of Virginia, and Danette (Dave) Hiltbrunner, of Plymouth, Ohio.

Mike was preceded in death by a daughter, Amanda Cope, a brother, James Arthur Cope and three sisters, Nancy Cope, Toni Fuerst and Thomasina Cope.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Friday, at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville.
The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 5, at the funeral home with Pastor Arnold Wright officiating.
