Michael Carroll, 36, of Wapakoneta, died at 2:58 a.m. Saturday, June 29, 2013, on State Route 198 following a motorcycle accident.
He was born Dec. 10, 1976, in Celina, the son of Robbie Schott Murphy. His mother and step-father, Roy Murphy, survive in Mendon.
Also surviving are a grandmother, Mary Lou Schott, of Celina; a brother, Roy (Keely) Murphy, of Mendon; a sister, Jennifer (Todd) Germann, of Celina; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by grandparents Robert Schott Sr. and Betty and Jack Murphy.
He was a graduate of Celina High School in 1995. He worked at Hydro Aluminum in Sidney.
He was an avid pool player and was a member of the American Pool Players Association, playing in the Valley Pool League. He also was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Ohio State Buckeye fan.
Services are to be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina, with the Rev. Kenneth Alt officiating. Burial is to follow at St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
