Melissa Stolz Schlarman, 49

Melissa Stolz Schlarman, 49, of Bismarck, N.D. and formerly of Celina, died July 6, 2014, at Standford Hospital in Bismarck. She was born Dec. 8, 1964, in Celina, to Marvin Stolz and Rita Piper, who survive in Celina. Also surviving in Celina is her step-mother, Diana Bruggeman, and step-father, Steve Phillips. She was formerly married to Joe Schlarman, who survives in Powell, Ohio. 

Other survivors include a son, Zachary Schlarman, of Powell; daughters, Jamie Marie Schlarman and Katie Nicole Schlarman, both of Powell; step-brothers, Brian Phillips and T.J. Phillips, both of Greenville, Ohio, and Faron Woodford, of Celina; a half-brother, Mike Thobe, of Celina; sisters, Leah Rohrbach, of St. Marys, and Andrea (Chad) Knapke, of Coldwater; step-sister, Jessica Woodford, of Celina; and six nieces and nephews. 

Melissa graduated from Celina High School in 1983. She was a homemaker. 

Family services will be held Saturday at 5 p.m. A gathering of friends and family will also be held Saturday from 2-5 p.m. at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina. 

Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Heart Association or the family.
