Marye Helen (Klima) Grieves, 69

Marye Helen (Klima) Grieves, 69, of 104 Highland Ave., Russia, Ohio, passed away Monday, March 3, 2014, at 8:03 p.m. at Lima Memorial Hospital. She was born on Feb. 5, 1945, in Wapakoneta, the daughter of the late Frederick and Emma (Hengstler) Klima. On Oct. 13, 1961, she married Roger Grieves, who preceded her in death on Feb. 14, 2000.

She is survived by five daughters, Lorraine Douglas ( Bill) of Sidney, Penny Turner (Matt) of Houston, Hope Cottrill (Terry), Kim Goubeaux (Jeff) both of Russia, and Carol Dunaway (Eric) of Orlando, Fla.; seven siblings, Frieda Snyder, Harry Klima (Betty), both of Wapakoneta, Donna Poling (Roger) of Van Wert, Paul Klima, George Klima, Linda Nicholas and Ken Klima, all of Wapakoneta; 13 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Ralph Klima.

Mrs. Grieves was a homemaker. She was an avid bingo and card player. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 7, 2014, at 7 p.m. at Cromes Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave., Sidney, with family friend, Josh Freisthler officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4 p.m. until the hour of service. In keeping with Mrs. Grieves wishes, her body will be cremated following the funeral services.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association in memory of Marye Helen Grieves.
