Mary Rose Pruitt, 84

Mary Rose Pruitt, 84, of Brandon, Fla., died at 6:25 a.m. on Sunday, July 6, 2014, under hospice care. She was born on May 31, 1930, in Auglaize County, to Elbert and Emma (McElroy) Edmiston, who preceded her in death. 

Survivors include six children, Wanda Edmiston, of Brandon, Fla., Mark (Deanna) Wisener, Jr., of Wapakoneta, Debra (Jim) Shaner, of Russels Point, John Wisener, of Tampa, Fla., Tilly Tirado, of Riverview, Fla., and Gary (Yvonne) Pruitt, of Tampa, Fla.; 16 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a sister, Lillian Kies, of Tampa, Fla. 

She was preceded in death by three sons, Terry Edmiston, Kent Wisener and William Wisener; an ex-husband, Mark Wisener, Sr.; and several brothers and sisters.

She dedicated her life to taking care of her handicapped daughter. She enjoyed visiting with family and friends. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
