Mary Lou Stahler, 86

Mary Lou Stahler, 86, of Wapakoneta, died at 6:52 a.m., Friday, May 2, 2014, at the St. Rita’s Medical Center, in Lima. She was born Feb. 26, 1928, in Van Wert, the daughter of Leo and Rosena (Zotz) Jordan, who preceded her in death. On Sept. 11, 1945, she married Robert Darrell Stahler, who preceded her in death on Feb. 24, 1999.

Survivors include, five children, Marcia Kay Bledsoe, of Toledo, Mike (Susan) Stahler, of Wapakoneta, Dave (Brenda) Stahler, of Findlay, Jerry (Barb) Stahler, of Wapakoneta, Jon (Terry) Stahler, of Wapakoneta; 17 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a grandchild, a great-grandchild and three siblings, Doris, Ann and Fred.

Mrs. Stahler had worked for Fishers Cheese and at the Auglaize Acres. She was a member of the Harvest Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and tending to her flowers, but most especially, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, at the Harvest Baptist Church, in Wapakoneta, with Pastor Gary Bragg officiating. Burial will be in the Resthaven Cemetery, near Moulton. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m., Tuesday, at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, state Route 501, Wapakoneta, and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church.
