Mary Lou Reynolds, 81, of Cridersville, died at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at Lima Memorial Health Care System.
She was born May 28, 1930, in Jackson, the daughter of the late Anna Graham (Shepherd) and Charles Roy Yinger. On June 19, 1948, she married Elliott Reynolds, and he preceded her in death May 23, 1999.
Surviving are a son, Brian K. (Sabrina) Reynolds, of Spencerville; five daughters, Cheryl Ann (Dennis ) Brookhart, of Arlington, Texas, Karen S. (David) Weber, of Lima, Jennifer L. Adkins, of Wapakoneta, Katie J. (James) Westcott, of Wapakoneta, and Janet Gail (Billy) Pack, of Wapakoneta; 15 grandchildren; Carla (Steve) Mayhue, Ryan (Jenny) Brookhart, Kyle Brookhart, Zachary Weber, Aadam (Sierra) Adkins, Drew Adkins, Aaron Adkins, Benn Simpko, Nikki Westcott, Brandon (Jenny) Drexler, Bradley Drexler, Brooke (Aaron) Stubbs, Brock Drexler, Corina Reynolds and Tyler Reynolds; 11 great-grandchildren, Lance Mayhue, Seth Mayhue, Gavin Brookhart, Trevor Brookhart, Lucca Adkins, Gianna Adkins, Apollo Adkins, Jacob Tregoning, Olivia Tregoning, Matthew Drexler and Milo Stubbs, a sister, Anna Mae Wilkins, of Elida; and a daughter-in-law, Joy Reynolds, of Bonita Springs, Fla.
She was preceded in death by a son, Randy Lee Reynolds, who died Sept. 3, 1999.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Cridersville United Methodist Church. She had been a Girl Scout Leader for 35 years and had been president of the Cridersville Band Parents for 3 years. She had been a news correspondent for the Wapakoneta Daily News.
Services are at 10 a.m. Saturday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home in Cridersville, with John Bayliff and the Rev. Jerry Wiles officiating. Burial will follow in St. Matthew Cemetery in Cridersville.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
