Mary A. Huber, 70

Mary A. Huber, 70, of Wapakoneta, died at 8:55 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2013, at the St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima, following a sudden illness. She was born April 28, 1943, in Detroit, Mich., the daughter of Charles & Rita (Scully) Dunleavy, and they preceded her in death. On July 4, 1964, she married Charles N. Huber, who survives.
Other survivors include, a daughter, Cheryl R. (Steve) Griffis, of Wapakoneta; two grandchildren, Charles D. & Megan E. Griffis; a sister, Colleen Dunleavy (Richard) Bekemeier, of Wapakoneta; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Dunleavy.
Mary retired in 2010 as a nurse at The Gardens, Wapakoneta. She had also worked 10 years with the Wapakoneta Rescue Squad and worked at Haehn’s Florist. She was a member and volunteer at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wapakoneta. She studied nursing at the Upper Valley J.V.S. Adult Learning Center, Greenville. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, gardening and traveling.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Saturday at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wapakoneta, Rev. Patrick Sloneker officiating. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Wapakoneta.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m., Friday at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, state Route 501, Wapakoneta.
