Mary Ann Wincelowicz, 93

Mary Ann Wincelowicz, 93, passed away on March 28, 2012.
She was born Aug. 26, 1918, to Elizabeth and Frank Kohler. She married John Wincelowicz Sr., who is deceased.
Surviving are three sons, John Wincelowicz Jr., Joseph Wincelowicz, and James Wincelowicz; four daughters, Joan Hughart, Jane Wagner, Julie Pack, and Jean Rojas; two sisters, Jane Steining, of Ohio, and Elizabeth Wincelowicz, of Florida; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers Leo Kohler, Henry Kohler, and Louis Kohler; and three sisters, Vickie Duncan, Margaret Kohler, and Dorothy Walsh.
She graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1936. She served in the U.S. Army from Oct. 27, 1943 to Feb. 28, 1946 during World War II. Mary Ann was employed by Corpus Christi Army Depot and then Memorial Medical Center as Admission Supervisor prior to retiring. Mary Ann enjoyed gardening and loved her flowers. She loved her family and children and doing things with them. She will always be remembered for her devotion to family, her strong faith and deep spirituality. Mary Ann was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Seaside Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. that same evening at the Seaside Chapel. Interment to follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
