Marjorie L. Hook, 90

Majorie L. Hook, age 90, of Wapakoneta died 2:40 p.m., Saturday, May 24 at St. Rita's Medical Center. She was born Dec. 2, 1923 in Douglas Wyo. to the late Henry and Berna Miller DuPertuis. She married William Eugene 'Jake' Hook May 19, 1946 and he preceded her in death Aug. 10, 1975.

Mrs. Hook had worked for the Days Inn, Wapak, self-employed home health care provider, Koneta Rubber and Ohio Decorative Products. She served as a WAVE with the U.S. Navy during WWII. She was a member of the Wapakoneta Community Worship Center.

Survivors include two songs; Danny R. Hook of Wapak, Donald B. (Debra) Hook of Wapak, three daughters; Joan L. (Joseph) Braun of Wapak, Janis M. (Frank) Polutnik of Findlay and Jerrilee A. (Keith) Holtzapple of Troy, 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, two brothers; Henry (Leona) DuPertuis of Merced, Calif. and Charles (Nancy) DuPertuis of Locust Grove, Ga.

She was preceded in death by five brothers; Harold, Frank, Gilbert, Donald and Lawrence DuPertuis and a sister, Dorothy Bretz.

The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, May 27 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville.

The funeral service will begin 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 28 at Wapakoneta Community Worship Center, Foxx Ranch Road with Pastors Jerry Hall and Don Holbrook officiating. Military rites will be provided by V.F.W. Post 8445. Private burial will be at a later date in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Moulton.
