Margery M. Lehman, 86, of Cridersville, died at 9:43 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012 at Otterbein-Cridersville Retirement Center.
She was born May 7, 1926 in Perry Township, Allen County, the daughter of the late Mary Rose (Eibling) and Roy H. and Sidener. On June 14, 1947 she married Darrell E. Lehman, who died Nov. 12, 1991.
She is survived by a son, Michael (Cathy) Lehman, of Cridersville; a daughter, Cheryl (Larry) Walker, of Bellefontaine; a daughter-in-law, Tammy (Joe) Lehman-McDonnell, of Lima; six grandchildren, Connie (Mark) Simons, of Findlay, Jodi (David) Snyder, of Marysville, Justin (Emily) Lehman, of Lima, Jenny Lehman, of Ann Arbor, Mich., Jaime Lehman, of Columbus, and Jacob Lehman, of Lima; a step-grandson, Evan McDonnell, of Lima; two great-granddaughters, Margaret Snyder, of Marysville, and Peyton Lehman, of Lima; a great-grandchild due in December; a brother, Charles Sidener, of Cridersville; two sisters-in-law, Janet Lehman, of Cridersville, and Sharon Lehman-Barr, of Lima; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Brent Lehman; and a sister, Edith Sidener.
Mrs. Lehman was a homemaker. Being born and raised on the Sidener family farm, she was a lifelong Perry Township resident. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church where she belonged to the Ruth Circle, was a Sunday school teacher and a home communion distributor. Community minded, she belonged to the Perry Sewing Guild of Lima Memorial Health System, the Perry Community Club, the Perry Music Boosters, the P.T.A., and the Auglaize County Farm Bureau. A loving woman who was a caregiver to her parents, sister, and husband, she will be sadly missed.
Services are at 11 a.m. Monday at Zion Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Kent Wilson, who will officiate. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery north of Uniopolis.
Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home in Cridersville and 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the church.
