Chris Sorensen's son has taken a liking to his latest restoration project, a Thunderbird purchased a month ago. Sorensen, of Wapakoneta, brought both the older car and a newer model Mustang to the Aug-Mer Shrine Club Car-Truck-Motorcycle Show on Friday in downtown Wapakoneta.

A passion for cars and talking to people about them is what their owners say brought them out to display their customized, restored and historical vehicles along the streets of downtown Wapakoneta on Friday night.
Chris Sorensen, who restores vehicles, brought a Thunderbird he bought just a month ago to the Aug-Mer Shrine Club Car-Truck-Bike Show. He also brought a Mustang he has been showing for five years.
