Lourine Posey, 73

Lourine T. Posey, 73, of Defiance, died Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, in Toledo.
She was born Oct. 4, 1938, the daughter of Florence Kowalski and John Voss, of Henry County. They preceded her in death.
She married Billy A. Posey on March 12, 1960, and he preceded her in death on Sept. 25, 1997.
Also preceding her in death were a son, Patrick Posey, and a daughter, Sherry Posey.
She is survived by three daughters, Janet (Brian) Bennett, of Wapakoneta, Barbara (Tim) Phillips-Wolfram, of Deshler, and Loretta Wilson, of Defiance; grandchildren, Sarah Phillips, of Deshler, Tyler Phillips, of Bowling Green, Devon Wilson, of Defiance, Arianna Posey, of Paulding, Cassidy Posey, of Paulding, Abigail Bennett, of Wapakoneta, and Andrew Bennett, of Wapakoneta; two brothers, Larry (June) Voss, of Liberty Center, and James Voss, of Liberty Center; and a sister, Carol Thome, of New Bavaria.
She worked with her husband for many years at the Posey Market. She also was a homemaker.
The funeral is planned for 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hanenkrath-Clevenger-Schaffer Funeral Home, in Defiance, with the Deacon Jeff Mayer officiating. Burial is to be at Riverview Memory Gardens in Defiance County.
The family plans to accept friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
