Louise E. Neuman, 80

Louise E. Neuman, 80, of Wapakoneta, died at 8:40 a.m., Monday, April 28, 2014, at the Auglaize Acres. She was born Dec. 14, 1933, in Allen County, the daughter of Cloyd and Iona (Hager) Sakemiller, who preceded her in death. On April 18, 1952, she married G. Delbert Neuman, and he died on Sept. 11, 1999.

Survivors include, a daughter, Tammy (Gordon) Brookhart, of Westerville, a son-in-law, Odes Russell, of Wapakoneta; six grandchildren, Stacey Metzger, Jason (Amber) Ridenour, Brandon Brookhart, Brent (Erica) Brookhart, Bradley (Amanda) Brookhart and Bryant Brookhart; five great-grandchildren, Kayla, Jenna and Mia Metzger, Savannah and Lily Ridenour; two step-sisters, Sandy (Jim) DeCamp and Carol Miller, both of Spencerville.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa Russell, and a sister, Juanita Rahrig.

Louise was a 1951 graduate of Spencerville High School. She retired in 2012 from the Wapakoneta High School cafeteria after 46 years service. She also managed and was a member of the Brands Lake Fishing Club. She enjoyed taking trips to casinos and playing cards.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, May 2, 2014, at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, state Route 501, Wapakoneta. Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Wapakoneta. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Awareness.
