Lola Miller, 80

Lola Jean “Jeanie” Miller, 80, of Wapakoneta, died at 4 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, 2011, at her residence.
She was born Sept. 16, 1931, in Auglaize County, the daughter of Erma (Miller) and Fred Nuss, who preceded her in death. On Sept. 12, 1948, she married Robert L. “Bob” Miller, and he died Oct. 12, 2002.
Surviving are two sons, Robert L. “Bo” (Rosalie) Miller, Jr., of Wapakoneta, Michael A. (Laura) Miller, of Wapakoneta; five grandchildren, Matt Miller, Megan Miller, Jamie Miller, Nicol Miller, and Angela (Scott) Dickman; two great-grandchildren, Brayden Dickman and Kaylee Dickman; a sister, Catherine Leis, of Spencerville; and two sisters-in-law, Helen Nuss and Betty Schaub.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Paul Nuss, Winfred Nuss, and infant Edward William Nuss; and two sisters, Lenora McName and infant Emily Nuss.
A homemaker and dedicated “Football Mom”, Jeanie enjoyed crocheting and playing cards.
Services are at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, State Route 501 in Wapakoneta, with the Rev. Charles Lively officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery in Wapakoneta.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
