Lois J. Ruck, 77, of 17353 Maier-Barber Road in St. Marys, died 8:43 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice.
She was born August 26, 1936 in Waterville, N.Y. to Albert and Florabell (Carpenter) Tarbox.
On Dec. 22, 1957 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Defiance, she married James R. Ruck, who survives.
She was also survived by a son Eric (Sue) Ruck, of Fredricksburg, Va.; daughter, Lisa Benoit  of St. Marys; five grandchildren, Christopher Benoit, Jimmy Benoit, Brittany Ruck, Josh Ruck, Zachary Ruck; four great-grandchildren, Wyatt Benoit, Logan Benoit, Lilly Benoit, Riley Benoit; sister Lorraine Frank  of Huber Heights, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by parents Albert and Florabell Tarbox; brother Leroy Tarbox, brother Albert Tarbox, Jr., brother Reginald Tarbox, sister Helen Powell.
She was a 1955 graduate of Waterville, N.Y. High School.
Lois served her country in the United States Air Force.
She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Moulton.
Her favorite pastimes included fishing, golfing and keeping in touch with her friends throughout the world via social media sites on her computer.
Services are scheduled to begin 11 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Joy Miller, officiating. Private family Burial will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery, in Wapakoneta.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church.
