To help get the month of September started off with a some excitement, a group of staff members of the Auglaize County Public District Library accepted a challenge from the Stallo Minster Library.

The challenge accepted was the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, and staff members Ronda Dear, Lori Scheer, Rhonda Toland and Bev Miller participated when seven children dumped cups of ice water on their heads.

As part of Tuesday morning story time the library decided the ice bucket challenge would be a fun addition for the kids to take part in.

Youth Service Assistant Ronda Dear said it was something for the staff and kids to do together.

“We thought the kids would have a lot of fun throwing water on us and to get involved,” Dear said.
