Lewis Wilgus Jr., 59

Lewis E. “Ed” Wilgus, 59, of Lima, and formerly of Spencerville, died at noon Friday, Nov. 25, 2011, at the Wood County Hospital in Bowling Green following surgery.
He was born March 19, 1952, in Lima, the son of Margaret I. “Peggy” Cook and Lewis E. Wilgus Sr., who survive in Bluffton. On Jan. 6,, 1973, he married Penny Ann Wieter, who survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Chad Wilgus, of St. Marys, Andrew Lee “Andy” Wilgus, of Conway, Ark., and Joshua Aaron Wilgus, of Van Wert.
Services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral home in Spencerville, with the Rev. Jon Spyker officiating. Burial with full military rites conducted by the Spencerville Veterans will follow at Spencerville Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Contributions may be given to the Spencerville Community Samaritans Food Bank.
