La Donna Hoel, 79

La Donna J. Hoel, 79, of Waynesfield, died at 3:35 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013 at her residence in Waynesfield.
She was born April, 27, 1934, in Preble County, to the late Clara (Hornbeck) and Russell Guenther. On Jan. 20, 1951, in New Paris, she married Kenneth W. Hoel, and he preceded her in death on May 20, 1986.
Surviving are six sons, Robert Hoel, of Waynesfield, Keith Hoel, of Lakeview, Kent (Florence) Hoel, of Lima, Michael “Mike” Hoel, of Lexington, Ky., Kevin (April) Hoel, of St. Marys, and Kenneth “KJ” (Nancy) Hoel, of Waynesfield; three daughters, Clara (Bruce) Topp, of Wapakoneta, Vickie Romano, of Waynesfield, and Barbara “Barb” Moore, of Kenton; a brother, Russell (Fern) Guenther, of New Paris; 29 grandchildren; and 38 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded by a great-grandson and a sister, Sandra Brumley.
La Donna had worked for the Copeland Corporation in Wapakoneta, retiring after 17 1/2 years of service.
Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Monday, at Armentrout Funeral Home in Waynesfield with Pamela Spencer officiating. Burial will follow at Willow Branch Cemetery.
