Kennith Sheridan Mullins, 63, of Wapakoneta, died at 11:27 a.m., Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at Lima Memorial Health System Emergency Room. He was born April 25, 1950, in Lima, the son of James and Pearl (Roe) Mullins, who preceded him in death.
Survivors include, three children, Victoria L. Mullins and Eric M. Mullins, both of Wapakoneta, and Steven A. Mullins, of Marion; siblings, James (Peggy) Mullins, of Denton, Texas, Betti Hendrickson, of Maynardville, Tenn.; former wife and mother of the children, Caroline (Ewing) Hickman; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph.
Kennith was retired from Everyday Technologies. He served in the U.S. Army from 1968 to 1971 in Vietnam. He was a member of the Lima Missionary Baptist Church, and since 1977, a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Aerie #691, in Wapakoneta. He enjoyed attending car shows and driving his Corvette. He was also an avid John Wayne fan and liked watching old time westerns.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Friday, April 18, 2014, at the Long & Folk Chapel of the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, 13 S. Blackhoof St., in Wapakoneta, with Pastor Terry Brock officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery, in Wapakoneta, where military rites will be conducted by the Wapakoneta V.F.W. Post #8445. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
