Josephine Davidson, 94

Josephine F. “Jo” Davidson, 94, of Cridersville, formerly of Wapakoneta, died at 11:35 p.m. Saturday, July 7, 2012, at Otterbein Cridersville.
She was born June 21, 1918, in DeGraff, the daughter of Nell (James) and Howard Doane, who preceded her in death. On Sept. 9, 1939, she married Glen V. Davidson, and he died May 21, 2002.
Surviving are a son, Samuel (Lynn A.) Davidson, of Reston, Va.; two grandchildren, Suzanne Thomas (Pablo Canales) of Falmouth, Mass., and Michael (Jennifer) Thomas, of Falls Church, Va.; four great-grandchildren, Owen Thomas, Brooke Thomas, Olivia Canales, and Sofia Canales; two nieces, Dr. Sherwin Davidson, of Portland, Ore., and Marian Nolan, of West Liberty; and four nephews, Tim Woodruff, of West Liberty, Mark Woodruff, of Loveland, Donald H. Miller, of Lima, and Dr. David Miller, of Rossford.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Harriet Miller; a brother, James Doane; and a nephew, James Kay Doane.
Jo was a member of First United Methodist Church in Wapakoneta.
Private family services will be held at the Kauffman-Eichholtz Funeral Home in West Liberty. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery in West Liberty.
There is to be no public visitation.
