Jean Ackley, 78

Jean Ackley, 78, of 225 N. Chestnut St., St. Marys, and a resident of the Gardens of Celina, died at 5:10 p.m. Monday, January 9, 2012, at the Gardens of Celina.
She was born Aug.21, 1933, in St. Marys, the daughter of Harry and Elizabeth (Moeller) Boltz. She married Cloyd Ackley, and he preceded her in death on March 10, 1967.
She is survived three sons, Spike (Brenda) Ackley, of St. Marys; David Ackley, of St. Marys, and Shawn (Kerri) Ackley, of St. Marys; and two daughters, Laura (Dan) Leonard, of Celina, and Becky Ernst, of Coldwater.
Services are at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home in St. Marys, with the Rev. Randy Christian officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
