Janice Louise Regula, 82

Janice Louise Regula, 82, of Jackson Center, passed away at 9:05 p.m. Thursday, June 16, 2011, at Wap-akoneta Manor, Wapako-neta.
She was born in Auglaize County, on July 4, 1928, a daughter of the late Goldie C. (Ruck) and Albert Lunz.
She married Ralph Regula on March 2, 1955, and he survives, along with two daughters, Debbie (Rick) Russell, of Botkins, and Brenda McDaniel, of Powell; a son, Bert (Marlene) Regula, of Jackson Center; grandchildren, Gary Russell, Alan (Tami) Russell, Brent Russell, Morgan (Drew) Heller, Lindsay McDaniel, Emma Regula, and Seth Regula; great-grandson, Dean Russell; sisters, Waneta Helmlinger, of Wapakoneta, and Lura Mae (Weston) Olds, of Lima; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was a homemaker and a member of Grace Lutheran Church, in Jackson Center, and was active in WOC Circle 2 and a former Sunday and Bible School teacher. She worked at Producer’s Livestock in Wapakoneta and was a volunteer at Wilson Memorial Hospital. She was a 1946 graduate of Blume High School and a housewife and worked on the family farm. She enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with her grandchildren and family.
Pastor Kent Hollis plans to conduct a funeral at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2011, at Grace Lutheran Church, in Jackson Center. Burial will take place at Mt. Tabor Cemetery, in Gutman.
Friends may call at the Smith-Eichholtz Funeral Home, in Jackson Center from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Lutheran Church.
