James Romaker, 64

James F. Romaker, 64, of Lima, died at 11:06 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2011, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
He was born May 24, 1947, in Columbus, to Katherine June ‘Kate’ Bonfiglio and James Richard Romaker, his mother survives in Lima and his father preceded him in death. On Oct. 5, 1974, he married Barbara Ann Woolf and she survives in Lima.
Also surviving are a son, Jason Romaker, of Lima; four brothers, Dr. Ralph (Marlene) Romaker, of Lancaster, Charles (Gina) Romaker, of Chicago, Anthony (Eva) Romaker, of Columbus, Robert (Jane Ann) Romaker, of Albany, N.Y.; two sisters, Caroline (Tony) Scarozza, of Buffalo, N.Y., and Mary (Russell) Bales, of Lima; and five grandchildren, Dylan Romaker, Gaby Romaker, Karlie Romaker, Landon Fields and Dylan Miller.
He was preceded in death by a son, David Romaker, who died in 2002.
Mr. Romaker had been a comptroller for Miller Textiles. He had served in the U. S. Air Force during Vietnam. He was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church, Lima, Eagles Lodge, Aerie 370, CPA Association, and was a graduate of the University of Toledo with a CPA degree. He enjoyed playing cards with family and friends and was an avid Ohio State University football and Cleveland Browns fan.
Services are at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home in Cridersville, with the Rev. David Ross officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Lima.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Contributions may be given to St. John’s Catholic Church.
