James R. "Jim" Kwiecinski, 75

James R. “Jim” Kwiecinski, 75, of Lima, died at 10:16 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013 at St. Rita’s Medical Center.
Kwiecinski was born to the late Harry and Rose (Scheboth) Kwiecinski on Oct. 12, 1938, in Pittsburgh.
He married Barbara (Klosterman) Griner Kwiecinski on Feb. 9, 1991, and she survives.
Survivors include three daughters, Rosemarie (Richard) Burch, of Pittsburgh, Judy (Kurt) Fisher, of Oakhill, Va., Susan (Tim) Mason, of Durham, N.C.; a son, James (DeAnna) Kwiecinski, of Pittsburgh; four step sons, David Griner and Debbie Hileman, of Rockford, Ohio, Greg (Jane) Griner, of Syracuse, Ind., Scott (Lisa) Griner, of St. Henry, Ohio, and Christopher Griner, of Ottoville, Ohio; one step daughter, Melissa (Mike) Esch, of West Liberty, Ohio; two brothers, Paul (Beryl) Kwiecinski, of Washington, Pa., John (Jane) Kwiecinski, of Pittsburgh; a previous spouse, Lorraine Kwiecinski; 29 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two grandsons.
Kwiecinski was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church. He was a volunteer at St. Rita’s Hospital. He retired from Westinghouse Corp.
He enjoyed wood working and weekend trips to the cabin in Indiana. Jim was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and he will be deeply missed.
Memorial service will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday at St. Charles Catholic Church in Lima, with Father Stephen Blum.
Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at Chiles Laman Funeral and Cremation Services Shawnee Chapel on Shawnee Road. Contributions are to be made at the donor’s choice.
