James LeRoy Motter, 74

James LeRoy Motter, 74, of Waynesfield, died Sunday morning, Aug. 3, 2014, at his residence. He was born Sept. 19, 1939, in Auglaize County, to the later Venard and Louise Motter. On Nov. 7, 1960, he married Sue Bollinger, and she survives. Mr. Motter was a retired semi truck driver. 

Other survivors include, four children, Marshall J. (Cheryl) Motter, of Waynesfield, Rex A. (Barb) Motter, of Waynesfield, Doneta L. (Aaron) Kaeck, of Wapakoneta, and Ryan L. Motter, of Waynesfield; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a brother, Venard Alan (Jarilyn) Motter, of Elida; three sisters, Sharon (Vernon) Stiles, of Lakeview, Barbara Binkley, of Waynesfield, and Penny (Charlie) Rice, of Ashland, Ky.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Philip R. Motter.

Funeral services will begin at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2014, at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. Burial will follow in St. Matthew Cemetery. 

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Monday, at the funeral home, and one hour prior to services, Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Auglaize County 4-H Junior Fair.
