James E. Fisher, 49

James E. Fisher, 49, of Wapakoneta, died at 6:27 a.m. Friday, Dec. 6, 2013, at Lima Memorial Health System.
He was born November 16, 1964, in Lima to Paul E. & Charlotte Ann (Copeland) Fisher. His father preceded him in death and his mother survives in Wapakoneta.
He is survived by two sisters and a brother; Kimberly (Jeff) Frazier of New Jersey, Tina (Jeff) Koenig, of Pennsylvania, and John (Jodi) Fisher, of Wapakoneta; several nieces and nephews, Matthew Fisher, Danielle (Corey) Gulley, Michael Fisher, Luke Koenig, Kathryn Frazier, Sarah Koenig and Miranda Allen.
James was a 1984 graduate of Wapakoneta Senior High. He had worked for Swonger’s Furniture for 22 years. He was a member of the Wapakoneta Elks and First English Lutheran Church. His hobbies were art, woodworking and collecting antiques. He dearly loved animals, especially his cat Karma.
Funeral services are scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. Monday at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta. Pastor Robert Blohm Jr. will be officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Wapakoneta. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Auglaize County Humane Society.
