Jackie Thuman, 44, of Wapakoneta, died at 2:43 p.m., Friday, May 2, 2014, at her home with her family at her side. She was born March 15, 1970, in Lima, the daughter of Carey and Pat Kreglow. Her mother survives in Wapakoneta and her father survives in DeGraff, Ohio. On Oct. 11, 1997, she married Todd J. Thuman, and he survives.

Other survivors include, three children, Brent (Taylor Phillips) Thuman, Elisha (Mike) Converse, both of Wapakoneta, Seth Thuman, at home; two grandchildren, Makahla Thuman and Bryce Converse; four siblings, Cheryl Gerstner, of Wapakoneta, Mark Gerstner, of California, Virginia (Brett) Place, of Wapakoneta, James (Barb) Werner, of Waynesfield; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Pat and Larry Thuman, of Wapakoneta; numerous nieces and nephews.

Jackie worked the past 17 years at Honda of America, Anna Engine Plant, most recently as a budget controller. She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, in Wapakoneta, and a 1988 graduate of Wapakoneta High School. Jackie was a staunch supporter of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and participated in Relay For Life, and Ride For Kids. She enjoyed entertaining at her home and spending time with her family. She was a wonderful wife and devoted and loving mother and grandmother.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, May 8, 2014, at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral home, state Route 501, Wapakoneta, with Pastor Mark Bauer officiating. Burial is to follow in the Greenlawn Cemetery, in Wapakoneta. The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m., Wednesday, and one hour prior to the service, Thursday, at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
