Jack L. Binkley, 57, of Wapakoneta, died at 6:44 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013, at his home.
He was born Oct. 8, 1956, in Lima to Robert L. Binkley & Rosemary (Binkley) Steinke who preceded him in death.
On Dec. 3, 1974, he married JoAnn Fugatt, and she survives in Wapakoneta.
Survivors include a son and daughter, Toby (Tara) Binkley, of St. Johns, Season (Scott) Hurley of Tipp City; five grandchildren, Kaleb, Mackenzie, Michala, Trenton and Spencer; a brother, Bill Binkley, of Dayton.
Jack attended Shawnee High School and then joined the United States Air Force in 1975. He was specialized as an Aircraft Structural Maintenance Craftsman for 18 years until he retired in 1993 after the Persian Gulf War. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and golfing.  He especially loved his grandchildren. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #330.
Funeral services are scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 4, 2013, at Schlosser Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Wapakoneta where military rites will be performed by the VFW Post #8445. Pastor Terri Vonderau will be officiating. Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association. Condolences may be expressed at schlosserfuneralhome.com.
