Iris Nancy Walters, 84

Iris Nancy “Kitten” Walters, 84, of Wapakoneta, went home to be with her Lord at 4:11 p.m., April 14, 2014, at Lima Memorial Health Systems from a short illness.

She was born March 31, 1930, in Lima, to John Robert and Edithmae Moore Schultheis who preceded her in death.

She married her high school sweetheart Lee ‘Sam’ Walters July 3, 1949, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 3, 2011.

Survivors include children, Debbie (Earl) Caudill, Greg (Cathy) Walters, Mike (Angie) Walters, Connie (Derrick) Martin, Seth (Haley) Walters and a foster son, Tom (Diane) Frank.

Friends and family may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Thursday, at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville.
The funeral service will begin noon Friday at the funeral home with Brother Michael Severt officiating.
Entombment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum, in Lima.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Gideons International or the American Red Cross.
