Ilene Limbert, 79

Ilene M. Limbert, 79, of Wapakoneta, died at 8:25 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012, at Wapakoneta Manor.
She was born Dec. 11, 1932, in Mercer County, the daughter of Hilda (Linn) and Ferdinand Bollenbacher, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her step-parents, Melba and LeRoy Overman. On Oct. 30, 1954, she married Leroy W. Limbert, and he survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Bill (Carla) Limbert, of Wapakoneta, and Tom (Denise) Limbert, of Wapakoneta; two daughters, Therese (Ron) Fahncke, of Wapakoneta, and Ann Limbert, of Wapakoneta; six grandchildren, Adam Fahncke, Seth Fahncke, Donavin (Amy) Geiger, Eric Limbert, Jesse Limbert, and Tyler Limbert; four great-grandchildren, Adrian, Brandon, Selena, and Spencer; a step-sister, Cheryl Grider, of Oklahoma; and a sister-in-law, Joan Bollenbacher, of Maria Stein.
She was preceded in death by a half-brother, Michael Bollenbacher.
A homemaker, Ilene also helped on the family farm. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church in Fryburg, and its ladies sodality. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. John Catholic Church in Fryburg, with the Rev. Oscar Seger officiating. Burial is to follow in the St. John Cemetery in Fryburg.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, St. Rt. 501, Wapakoneta.
