Hubert Warnecke, 75

Hubert E. “Herb” Warnecke, 75, of Spencerville, died at 8:20 a.m., June 17, 2011, at Community Health Professionals Van Wert Hospice Center.
He was born Oct. 31, 1935, in Delphos, the son of Leona (Gable) and Edward Warnecke, who preceded him in death.
On Nov. 8, 1958, he married Janice R. Burnfield, and she survives.
Also surviving are a son, Kevin L. Warnecke, of Spencerville; and a daughter,, Cynthia S. Warnecke, of Knox, Ind.
Services are at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Spencerville United Church of Christ, with the Rev. Vince Lavieri officiating. Burial will follow in the Spencerville Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville, and 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Herb Warnecke Memorial Fund that will be distributed to Van Wert Hospice Center, St. Meinrad Archabbey, or the Spencerville United Church of Christ.
