Father’s Day is tomorrow and many local residents will be showing their appreciation to dads and husbands in a variety of ways.

The Daily News hit the streets Friday to find out how some of these people will be celebrating and what makes their dad the greatest in the world. Here are some of their responses:

How will you be celebrating?

“We’ll probably get my dad a gift and take him out to eat. Other than that we’ll just hang out and have a family day. We’ll spend some time with him that day and show him how much we care.”

What makes your dad special?

“He’s just a great man overall. Growing up, he always taught me how to be responsible and care for people. He showed me how to put a family together in the correct way and taught me moral values that matter in life. He taught me how to be strong for other people and how to respect them, as well as how to live the right way.”
