Harold D. Manning, 75

Harold D. Manning, 75, of Wapakoneta, died at 9:40 p.m., Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at Wapakoneta Manor. He was born July 20, 1938, in Anderson County, Tenn., the son of Clyde and Vicy (Creekmore) Manning, who preceded him in death.

Survivors include, his former wife, Agnes Lowe Manning, of Wapakoneta; two children, Peggy (Stewart) Bowersock and Kenneth R. Manning, both of Wapakoneta; two grandchildren, Matthew (Brittani) Bowersock, stationed at Camp Pendleton, and Rachel Bowersock, of Columbus.

He was preceded in death by a son, Gregory Manning, and a sister, Betty Lou Manning.

Harold had worked in the construction department of Dominion Gas Co., retiring in 2000. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Aerie #691, Wapakoneta. An avid golfer, Harold played at Northmoor Golf Club in St. Marys.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Monday, April 28, 2014, at the Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, state Route 501, Wapakoneta. Burial is to follow in the Resthaven Memory Gardens, near Moulton. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m., Monday, until time of the service, at the funeral home.
