Glenna Carmean, 78

Glenna LeMar Carmean, 78, of Spencerville, went to be with the Lord at 2:50 a.m. Friday, June 29, 1912, surrounded by her family.
She was born Dec. I 2, 1933, in Columbus Grove, to Lura (Fisher) and Albert LeMar, who precede her in death. On June 24, 1951, she married Carl E. Carmean who died Jan. 7, 2006. They were married 54 1/2 years. Mrs. Carmean was a homemaker. She attended Ross Church of the Brethren for 47 years and was a member for 33 years. Mrs. Carmean held various positions at the church but was most proud of the 23 years she was Vacation Bible School Director. She was also a member of the Silent Twelve Club for 57 years. She was a high school graduate of Spencerville. Her life was devoted to her family, husband and five children, and the church. She had four daughters; Barbara (Gary) Ziegler, Debra (Jim) Wells, Glenna (Dave) Binkley, Connie (Tom) Wegesin; and a son, Carl, who died in 1983; a daughter-in-law, Diane (Obringer Carmean) Morris; 15 grandchildren, Jeff (Liz) Obringer, of New Bremen, Arleen (Greg) Boley, of Convoy, Douglas Obringer, of St. Marys, Tisha (Greg) Lindberg, of Durham, N. C., Craig (Kristy) Obringer, of Celina, Mike Carmean, of Bellefontaine, Brian Carmean, of Lima, Mark (Angel)Carmean, of Wapakoneta, Tonya Zeigler, of Wapakoneta, MiKisha (Christopher) Blue, of Van Wert, Jessica Wegesin, of Spencerville, Krystal (Ryan) Loy, of Wapakoneta, Amber (Joshua) Turnmire, of Waynesfield, Megan (Tom) Theobald, of Venedocia, Seth Wegesin, of Wapakoneta; 22 great-grandchildren, Krysta Obringer, Kelsey Obringer, Courtney Boley, Andrew Boley, Patrick Obringer, Makayla Obringer, Jacob Obringer, Lauren Lindberg, Devon Lindberg, Emma Lindberg, Hailey Obringer, Colton Obringer, Laurel Frew, Cadence Frew, Jaicten Markins, Carl Lee and Rylie Carmean, Zaide, Jayci Blue, Madison Loy, Noah Loy, and Ruger Theobald; a step-grandchild, Kristine Willis; three step-great-grandchildren; Tiffany, Sabrina and Amanda; a step-great-great-grand child, Keegan; her twin brother, Glenn (Kay) LeMar, of Lima; a sister Bernice Wittler, of Melbourne, Fla.; a brother Lee Wessel, of Palmyra, Neb., two sisters-in-law, Joanne LeMar, of Lima, and Doris LeMar, of Cridersville.
Preceding her in death were four sisters Shirley Sisson, Millie Wessel, Thelma Lane, and Dorthy Cole; and three brothers Roger LeMar, Donald LeMar, and an infant brother; four brothers-in-law, Edgar Lane, Harold Wittler, John Cole, Jack Sisson; a niece, Glenda LeMar, and a son-in-law, Roger Obringer.
Services are at 2 p.m. Monday at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville, with the Rev. Keith E. Stoller officaiting. Burial will follow at Wright Cemetery near Converse.
