Glenn J. Dickerson, 69, of Cridersville, died Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011 at Lima Memorial Health Systems.
He was born Nov. 30, 1941 in Newark, N.J., to Martha Agnew and Elvest Glen Dickerson. His mother survives in Cridersville and his father preceded him in death Dec. 6, 2010. On Aug. 12, 1977, he married Joyce McGue and she survives in Cridersville.
Survivors include five sons; Bob Dickerson, of Cridersville, Ken (Kim)Dickerson, of Cridersville, Glen ‘Skip’ Dickerson, of Pannsylvania, Gene (Jamie) Lauck, of Lima, Johnny (Cathy) Lauck, of Lima, two daughters, Kathy Fisher, of Bowling Green, Debbie (Kirk) Wilmoth, of Lima; two brothers, Bill (Cindy) Dickerson, of Easton, Pa., Jim (Carol) Dickerson, of Palmer, Alaska; a sister: Patricia (John) Rowe, of Hot Springs, S.D.; 14 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
He had been a farmer and worked construction. He was a life member of the Quarter Horse Association and enjoyed watching his grandchildren ride. He also enjoyed gossip at the coffee shop. He had served with the U.S. Navy.
Services are at 8 p.m. Friday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home in Cridersville, with Rev. John Rowe officiating.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at and the funeral home.
