Botkins Head Coach Don Mack was very pleased with his team’s play, but exceptionally pleased with Bergman’s performance.
“Casie was huge for us in the first half with her 3’s, it really opened up things down low for Logan.” Mack said.

Mack said he was pleased with the performance of the Trojans, but said they need to remember to play the entire game, and not slow up when they have a lead.
“We got a little rattled with their pressure,” Mack said. “And we got lethargic once we got the lead, which you can’t do”.
Mack said in practice, they are going to work on breaking full-court pressure better.
“We need to work on handling people’s pressure, we’re going to see it night in and night out in the Shelby County League,” Mack said.
Botkins moves to 1-0 on the year, and the Trojans return to action Tuesday night against Shelby County foe Russia. Parkway falls to 0-1 on the year.
