Gillette bond set at $150k

Nathaniel Bice Gillette, 45, of Wapakoneta, was in court Tuesday for a bond hearing on a community control sanctions violation.

Gillette was ordered to post $150,000 bond with a 10 percent provision. If the 10 percent provision is exercised, an own recognizance bond will be required.

Gillette was remanded to the custody of the sheriff pending the posting of bond.

Gillette was approved for an intervention in lieu of conviction on Feb. 13, 2016, stemming from an indictment filed on Jan. 5, 2016, on one count of possession of drugs, a fifth degree felony, for an offense that occurred on Sept. 17, 2015. With the intervention in lieu of conviction, the criminal charges were stayed as long as he obeyed the rules of the intervention.

A motion for a hearing on violation of community control sanctions and to impose execution of sentence was filed on Jan. 9.
