Gale Miller, 65

Gale Elaine Miller, 65, of Lima, died at 5:15 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10, 2011, at Cleveland Clinic.
She was born July 31, 1946, in Coldwater, Mich., the daughter of Mary Lou and Dr. George Richardson.
Survivors are a daughter, Jennie (Jason) Hefner, of Wapakoneta; three grandchildren, Joshua, Jonathan Michael and Natalie; a brother, David “Doc” Richardson; and her dog, Matilda.
Gale retired from Ohio Northern University in Ada. She was a fun filled lady with a lot of spunk, and her favorite saying was “GO BLUE”. Always a great listener, she often stated she lived a great life. She enjoyed the Christmas holidays where she could show others how much she cared about them. Gale had many friends that cared for her throughout the years, and was a recovering alcoholic for 21 years.
Services are at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home in Wapakoneta, with the Rev. Steven Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery in Wapakoneta.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
